*** Churches with Milal
주동행교회 will worship at the Milal Dream Site from February. Milal service is at 11 AM and the 주동행교회 will have worship at 1 PM. As such, we will share a place of worship. We are thankful and I pray that we will grow together in the love of the Lord.
*** Thank you for the First Anniversary of Milal College.
On February 14 (Tue), Milal Day Program (Milal College) celebrated its first anniversary. It started with three people and now Milal College has grown to 15 students in a year with two full-time teachers and many volunteers. On this day, we had time to thank God and congratulate our wheat grain friends.
In the future, Milal College will continue to be the best program that brings happiness to God and that disabled people like. We will do our best.
*** Brother Lee Jun-cheol of Milal College had Surgery
Brother Jun-cheol who attends Milal College had a laparoscopic cholecystectomy at Holy Name Hospital on February 15. Pastor Kang Won-ho visited Juncheol after the surgery to pray for comfort and recovery. After praying, Juncheol shouted “Amen” loudly and we hope he recovers quickly and returns to Milal College.
*** Visit to the Middle and High School Students of Cheonho-dong Church
On February 18 (Sat), about 50 middle and high school students of Cheonho-dong Church in Korea visited the Agape Love class. Our Milal friends praised and worshiped with them and performed a special song, “You Raise Me Up.”
We then had lunch together. We hope that it was a special experience for the students visiting the U.S. On this day, 130 people gathered and not only had 12 Baskets, but the evangelist who serves the church with a heart of “a church that makes God happy” rejoiced, and made fish and fried shrimp, serving us a delicious lunch. The evangelist provided lunch for our friends. Thank you.
*** Ottogi Food Donation
Once a month, Ottogi Foods provides various foods, so the wheat grain family can share together. We hope Ottogi Food, an excellent Christian company, will grow further in the future. I am deeply grateful to those involved.
*** Purchasing a Used Seven-Seater Van
A minivan that was donated seven years ago is now out of commission due to an engine failure. Thank you for donating the minivan to Wheat Grain so that it was used these past seven years. We recently purchased a used 7-seater van. In the future, we will use the Church Van to continue our ministry.
*** Attending the Presidents of the Sports Association for the Disabled
Pastor Kang Won-ho attended the meeting of the presidents of the Korean Sports Association for the Disabled held in Maryland on March 3rd and 4th.
He attended and organized the meeting as the next presidential election committee chairman. We hope the Sports Council for the Disabled
and the disabled people will be active in sports activities and live a healthy social life.
*** Pastor Kang Won-ho preaching AWCA
Pastor Kang Won-ho preached the morning worship at AWCA on February 27 (Mon). AWCA’s Secretary-General Je Mi Kyung has decided to have a closer partnership with Milal in the future.
*** Invitation to A Sermon
The evangelist Evan Lee from the church that shares Milal’s worship space delivered a message from Psalms 43: 1-5 “Your Light and Your Truth” on March 5th (Sun).
*** A Visit to Korea
Lee Hwa-soon visits Korea from February 10th to 27th, and Kang Mi-kyung’s visits from February 21 to March 13th.
