밀알소개
1. 역사 History
1979년 장애인들에게 그리스도의 복음을 전하고(전도), 그들의 현실적 어려움을 도우며(봉사), 사회나 교회에 바로 알리기(계몽) 위해 한국밀알 신 이 설립되어 한국의 2백만 장애인을 대상으로 사역해 오다가 세계 5억의 장애인들에게도 동일한 사역을 펼치기 위해 오래도록 기도하고 준비해 오던 중 1994년 10월 15일 뉴저지 밀알 선교단을 창립하게 되었습니다. 지금은 세계 22개국 70개 지역에서 활동하고 있습니다.
In 1979, America Wheat Mission was established in order to educate the community and the society of current issues for people with special needs. In October of 1994, the America Wheat Mission in the United States and the Wheat Mission branch in Korea collaborated with a vision to make a difference in Korean-American communities. Currently, the main head quarters are established in over 22 countries, 70 stations worldwide including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Netherlands, England, and Russia.
현재 강원호 목사님이 2대 뉴저지 밀알 단장으로 2001년 7월에 부임하였으며 150명의 실행단원과 170명의 후원단원, 그리고 120 여명의 장애인이 밀알에 등록되어 있습니다.
The current president of the Wheat Mission in New Jersey is Rev. Won Ho Kang who was appointed on January 1, 2000. Currently, total of 150 volunteers and 170 contributors are involved in our local branch in New Jersey, including 120 members with special needs.
2040년까지 지구촌 어디든지 장애인이 있는 1000곳에 밀알을 심어 그들의 이웃이 되기를 소원합니다. 우리는 사랑을 통해 생명의 존중, 인간의 평등, 섬김의 가치를 세상에 심어 세계 평화의 씨앗이 되기를 소원합니다.
Milal is a sign of hope to the wider world of the essential values of the heart through serving people with special needs and restoring basic human rights, justice, and equality.
2. 기본 목표 Mission
* 전도 : 장애인에게 복음을 전한다.
* 봉사 : 장애인을 돕는다.
* 계몽 : 장애인에 대해 바로 알린다.
Milal has been adhering to its three main objectives: spreading the gospel to people with special needs (evangelism), serving to improve their living conditions (service), educating public and churches about disabilities (enlightenment).
3. 밀알 5대비전 Five Milal Vision
* 꿈이 있는 사람은 행복합니다.
1.장애인 신학을 정립하여 교회/신학교 / 현장에서 배울 수 있도록 한다.
2. 각 교회마다 장애인 목장이 세워질 수 있도록 한다.
3. 세계 1,000여 곳에 장애인 선교단을 세운다.
4. 장애인 사역자와 지도자 양성을 위하여 장학금을 확대한다.
5. 그룹 홈을 확장하여 밀알 동산을 세운다.
1.Formulate Theology of Disability for educational missions for churches, seminaries, and community.
2. Establish and implant community for people with special needs in local churches.
3. Develop Milal community and missions in 1,000 different locations around the world.
4. Administer and substantiate scholarships for ministers and training in disability service and ministry.
5. Establish Milal community for the disabled by developing group homes for the people with disabilities.
